This was my first experience with a hostel and HI-Boston made a great impression on me! Thanks.

The fire alarm went off the night I stayed there. I was very uneasy about the route the fire escape took through the building. My room was on the second floor and the fire escape led me to the basement and bcak up the main stairs-danerous! With such an old, large buliding I suggest a fire escape map handed to everyone on arrival at the hostel.

All the talk is of this being a really fun place but I didn't get that vibe at all. However, the hostel is close to the T transport system which can whizz you into town in about 10 minutes. And the free breakfasts are among the best I come across (bagels, muffins and fruit and plenty of it).

A good hostel, good location, the staff were very helpful and I met quite a lot of people hanging out in the TV room.

Very busy, people from all walks of life in and out at all times. Very nice to see so many different Vibrant people. Many levels to hide away in a corner for some privace as well as large congregating areas. The location in the city could not have been better! Really appreciate the little numerous guided adventures the staff allows you to sign up for plunging you into the heart of the local community activities.

I've stayed in many hostels throughout the world and this was by far the most cramped hostel with the most meager breakfast. There wasn't even any cheap juice with breakfast or cream cheese for the bagels. C'mon, you guys can do better than that. A few extra cents on your part would make a huge difference in the quality of this place.

Nice location. Staff kind & helpful. The room was nice but had a foul odor. Hard to socialize with other guest. Too expensive in my opinion.

The hostel is well located particularly for the younger generations as it is close to many very good night clubs and bars. They organize nightly outings and other activities regulary. When I was tehere they had a club crawl led by a local guy. The next afternoon too they had something like a free lunch. I didnt attend as I had to go out sight seeing. The staff needs a special mention as during check in I couldnt find my photo ID in my wallet. The lady at the front desk allowed me to use their phone frre of charge to call my work place to request for a fax on our letter head stating that I worked here. I Appreciate that.

This place was a bit more expensive but it was a great hostel. They provided breakfast, hairdryers, really comfy beds, a nice tv room and it was in a good location. So it was worth it.
