Great hostel, prob best we've stayed in so far, not in the best location , however never had any probs. Have a great dvd selection and good wi-fi connection. Only bummer was someone nicked our food from the fridge, but guess that could happen in most places.
Great hostel, i would recommend it! Neighbourhood not the best, but no problem for me, and very central!

The hostel was clean... But outside on the streets there were lots of homeless people and it was durty. Also we had a few problems while checking in and some of the staff was rude. Note that parking is 6 blooks away and cost $15 per night.

I did not know what to expect, as it was my first time staying at a hostel. But I had a great time, and would advise others that hostels are great if you're on a budget.

Best hostel I have ever stayed in, staff were really friendly & helpful. Free breakfast & a 50inch tv with loads of dvds to choose from. What more could you ask for!!!!

Great Hostel, would recommend it and will stay again if I get back to San Fran! Clean, friendly, ensuite bathrooms small but well maintained. Facilities fantastic: massive kitchen with all utils, plenty of fridge space, clean rooms, lots of common areas, internet (not free!), card reader for downloading your photos, various mobile phone chargers available etc etc. Location is convenient though there are certain areas to be avoided at night (day time no problem!)

Really comfortable lobby, huge sofas to relax on and clean dorms. Really rate staying here as many of the other people staying here do. Excellent security. As female traveller felt toally safe within the hostel. The street has dodgy parts, especially at one end, however these areas can be avoided by talking to the staff and using a bit of common sense. Staff great, really bubbly and helpful. Very clean, no complaints.

This was a really good all round hostel with a good atmosphere, really helpful staff and in a good location allowing easy access to the sights in San Fran. Room was dated but very very clean. So all round an excellent hostel that we would highly recommend.
We all found the beds far too soft, otherwise an excellent stay.
