The Fisharman's Wharf Hostel is clean, comfortable, but most importantly it is in a great location! There are great views of the Golden Gate Bridge, and are within easy walking distance to the Fisherman's Wharf, as well as the bus and trolly lines!

The staff reflects the best of San Franciscans. I had the best night's sleep. It was very refreshing.

The pub crawl was surprisingly a lot of fun . . . i would definitely recommend it to everyone (over the age of 21 of course).
This hostel is to be recommended very much, one felt well lifted, big praise!

Hey- This was my first time staying in a hostel and i'm so happy that I stayed at HI-S F Fisherman's Wharf. I met several wonderful people from many parts of the world and learn alot about them as well as San Francisco it self. Getting around town was very easy and affordable. The staff answered all of my questions and even gave me ideas on what to see. If you are looking for a great place with a wonderful staff and an amazing view there is no other place in San Fran that you should stay. I changed my three nights into a nine night stay. Make sure you don't miss out. The hostle will fill up fast for the summer people that are coming back again...like myself. See ya in August. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience.

This place is awesome! Great location, great price, great breakfast! I've stayed in many hostels and this is by far my favorite!!
Beats the Hilton Hawaiian in Honolulu with its pet penguins and flamingos and its ten times cheaper!!! Big storage lockers. Odd but non-threatening characters around - age no barrier Cafe good Easy bus access to centre Book whole day bike ride even if only going for half as with voucher works out cheaper

The best possible location for fisherman's wharf and the presidio. I enjoyed the great breakfast and nice lounge area. All staff were very friendly and it was easy to run along the bay from here- a plus!
The front desk personnel were very nice and helpful. The only complaint I would have is that the breakfast was a bit skimpy, but the room/location was super.
