This was my first time staying in a hostel. I loved it! The staff was great, and the location was ideal for my needs. I was able to walk to the Golden Gate bridge, and Fishermans Warf from HI-San Francisco. If you don't want to walk, there are plenty of bike rentals around. This is the perfect place to stay when you are on a budget.

It was an awesome hostel!!! The staff were friendly and informative, the kitchen was HUGE and you never had to wait for supplies, there was a nicely stocked FREE FOOD cupboard, and it was in a great location--just a short walk from the ocean...
