All the halls need new carpeting. The t.v. room is to dark & depressing.

My room and restroom were fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a big problem. Front desk staff gave me a paper with info on area parking lots. The map would have been better if it was hand drawn with fewer streets and more info about the actual lots. For example, the paper had addresses for the lots, but the lots behind businesses and accessible from the alley. No addresses were seen. Maybe it would have been better if a new information page was created with

Stayed in a 4 bed dorm with adult family. Room was small, very basic and hot but we got used to it and it was okay if you just wanted somewhere to sleep. Free breakfast was good and kitchen facilities, washroom and internet room good. Staff very helpful and friendly.

If theft and break-ins are such a problem, why not install security cameras to deter criminals? We had someone saw through a metal Thule roof rack. It must have taken some time to do and a camera would have helped to catch the person. The inside of the hostel was great, good bkfast too.

The location is no where near the centre of town or Stanley park, seems to be in the middle of nothing. The hostel has very little character and very little to do here and its seems the staff aren't enthusiastic about organising anything. Just stay in the Vancouver Central atleast your closer to the centre of town and it has its own bar.

Excellent. The breakfast was awesome and the staff were really friendly and helpful. :) Would definitely go back. The location was very good - walking distance to Stanley Park. Very clean, and lots of hot water in the showers.

Great if you need a super central location, close by "night life"(if in Vancouver there is one...) and down town beaches. Very quite and safe. Small dorms, only one small window per dorm (it can be smelly). Staff? Gosts, not very helpful with directions and first hand tips.

So me and my sister planned a road trip for our first time in Canada. We looked at the hostels online and this seemed like the perfect choice. So we booked it. Drove over and to our suprise it was. Initially me and my sister booked a dorm private for just me and her but a shared bathroom. They messed up in the system and because of their mess up we ended up with a ensuite bathroom and actually paid less for it. It is located right in the heart of downtown. Pretty easy to find. Can walk literally
