The blinds in my single room did not close properly and anyone in the bathrooms could see into the room.

apart from the stairs, everything was quite satisfactory. The showers are push button ones, but the rooms are clean and secure.

Fabulous value and not a bad place at all! :-) Just one thing.. Please try make it very Clear in booking that you need photo id (passport or Drivers licence) to Check in.. Don't bury that in the smallprint that nobody ever reads.. I didn't have mine with me and it was a nightmare..
