The staff is really helpful. The area where the hostel is located is not so noisy as other places in Barcelona, but you are in a matter of minutes on las Ramblas. I would come back again next time.

Great hostel choice: the security and staff are definitely top notch. The party scene is perfect because it's very lively but at the same time if you wanted to avoid it, you easily could. I'd definitely recommend HelloBCN!

Best hostel I ever stayed in, in one of the coolest cities I have ever visited. The place is nice, the staff is awesome, and the bar downstairs ensures good encounters with others making their way around also. Bottom line is, if your lucky enough to be visiting Barca, this is where you wanna stay.

this hostel was good and friendly, the staff well very helpful. the location and the neighbourhood was ok, had a few stories floating around of people being mugged up the road or having things stolen or being harrased. but i dont know the story behind it either

This is a brand new hostel in a great location, about a block from the "Paral*lel" metro stop on the Green Line. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, especially Daniella and Louise. The hostel is about a 20 minute walk from the beach, but it's a nice walk. Las Ramblas is only about a 5 minute walk, too. The metro is cheap (get a T-10 pass) and really easy to use so you can get anywhere you need to with relative ease. The hostel has a fitness room (that I never used) and a bar (that I used a lot). The bar is open from 7pm-1am and is the best deal in town. I met a lot of great people during my stay and would most definitely return to HelloBCN. There are also 2 large refridgerators in the kitchen and a big market close by so you can cook your own meals or buy fresh produce. Security is really good, too. This was the best hostel I stayed in on my trip.
