Great place for a short weekend. Location is good. People are cool (both staff and guests). Really enjoyed my stay there.

I thought this was one of the better hostels Ive stayed at in the US. It's an old house on a small hill converted into a hostel and it has a nice homey feel including a patio, balconies, a front and back yard, kitchen, lounges, tv room, free Internet, etc. It's about 20 mins from downtown with the Red line but it's literally across the street from the station so that makes up for the distance. I found the staff friendly and informative. Overall a great place in a quiet area but close enough to t

The place is dilapidated, there is no air conditioning (it was 80+ degrees the night we stayed), no lockers in the room, the sheets are old and threadbare, and i'm pretty sure there was a bug or two in mine when i unfolded them. The bed was terribly uncomfortable!! I chose this place because it was closer to a metro stop than the other DC hostel options, but trust me, it would be worth an extra walk to get better accommodations than this

I really enjoyed my time in this hostel. I stayed there for 4 nights and we had fun every evening. It's very close to metro station, so you can easily get to any part of the city.

Very home-like and even if its kinda far away from downtown DC its easy to get there and the surroundings are beautiful. I wish I had had more time to stay there.

It is a good hostel. the location is excellent. The free internet is very good too. But they were changing the staff and sometimes it was confusing.

two grandsons and myself stayed at this Hostel, I paid for all three of us for 3 nights. The oldest grandson told me in the afternoon of our arrival, that his cousins from other side of the family had asked him to come to their house for the night and would I mind.
I said of course not. Then in the middle of the night someone else occupied his empty bed. I went at that time to the desk clerk and he came to the room. There was no other empty bed in the room. That person did not "accident
