This place is wonderful! It's small but very comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful, too. Everything--room, shower and toilet rooms, kitchen--was very clean; the staff were friendly and hospitable; the hostel is located in a quiet, peaceful part of the city, but is only a few minutes' walk away from a metro tram stop. (And there's a great bakery just a block away!) No complaints whatsoever; highly recommend.

This is definitely the place to come if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed, and enjoyable experience. The owner is extremely polite and easy going. You even get to use the internet for as long as you like for free!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hoffmanns Hostel. The man in charge was very very friendly and helpful, and most importantly spoke PERFECT english. The place is in a decent neighboorhood and very close to the tram where a short ride takes you right to the heart of Berlin. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and warm. Only downfall was the showers... have to shower very quick if you want a warm one. Overall, Lovely place to stay, highly recommended.
