I highly recommend this hostel. The rooms were spotless and our room was very quiet, which is hard to find in Madrid. Will definitely stay here again!

Like a hotel on the main shopping street and a walking distance from all of the sights! Helpful staff, maid cleans the room every day, doors lock on inside and outside and you need a key for the front door. Very safe.

Very good location and great crown molding in the room, loved the art nouveau/deco period touches... especially the elevator. Despite the small room.... it was just fine for a two day trip.
very friendly, helpful staff. Spotless and very quiet. More hotel like than hostel like. Only downfall is no common area and limited interaction with other travellers if that is what you are looking for. We weren't, so we really liked it! Word about the breakfast... if it was included we didn't get it. But we didn't ask about it either.

It's very nice and central. But don't surprise about the breakfast. You can't call it breakfast, better is break-snack.
this is an excellent hostel in a great location. extremely clean and tidy and very secure. it and the friendly staff gave us piece of mind when staying in madrid.
