This is certainly the best hostel in Mexico City! The staff is relaxed and helpful and the nighborhood is quiet, clean, safe and beautiful. The hostel is located in an old colonial-style house with a wonderful ambiance. If you are tired of hostels that feel like hotels, Hostel Home is the place.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at hostel home. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. THe location in Condesa is excellent. The only complaint I have relates to the bathrooms. More than once there was no water to shower or wash your hands, although this is very likely a problem in Mexico City, not necessarily the hostel. Also, bring toilet paper, the bathrooms often did not have any. But again, I would still say this is a good place to stay.

They took the TV and DVD away and never returned it for over a week while I was there. Quiet place lights off at 12. Breakfast is white bread and jam
