The hostel is well run, clean and has some great staff and facilities. Too many older people and people wanting to keep to themselves though not like hostels in Oz where everyone is there to have fun.

Good clean place to stay in safe neighbourhood near Columbia uni- so lots of people on streets in evenings. Only 1 block from subway. Would recommend to solo travellers

Rooms have lots of room and are clean. The bathroom was a bit average. Also extras which are free at other hostels like storing your lugage on your last day are fairly expensive ($5) and internet.

- I waked up during the first night because of cold. If I had extra blnacket... - There is no pillow case. - Each evening I went back the hostel, my key did now work and I had to back to FD. I felt frastration, I was very tired.
