| At only a 3 minute walk from the 'Busabout' pick up and drop off point, the Andre Gill is a nice and clean 2-star hotel at the heart of Montmartre. It's a fantastic area full of restaurants, bars, showhouses and just a few steps away from the Moulin Rouge... |

Its a nice place, but not for people looking to meet new people.

The best thing about Andre Hill is its staff. Great people always at hand for any thing you may need. The breakfast was also very good. The room we got was really nice and clean. The hotel appearance could be improved but it is a very nice place and certainly good value for your money. I would recomend it.

I really enjoyed my two nights at the André Gill. The staff is very friendly and their English quite good actually!
I also liked the cleanliness of the hotel (you get new towels every day) and the small breakfast was also enjoyable.
I would go back there!

this place is pretty average and that is being generous! i got ripped off. there was something wrong with my booking then the lady at the desk wouldn't help or even try sort my room out for me. long story shot i got charged for two people for a private twin room. she wouldn't even try and rearrange it for me even put me in a dorm then sort stuff out later. its pretty run down and scummy, that doesn't really bother me as long as you pay for what you get. with the amount i got shagged over for i could have got a nice inner city hotel room. location was good. just the fact that i lost so much money really pissed me off. there is no real common area and your stuff doesnt really feel that safe.

El hotel esta bastante bien y es limpio. De noche la yona no es la mejor pero es facil llegar y cerca del metro. Pero tengan cuidado porque la tarifa que figura en internet no incluye impuestos y cuando tuve que pagar mas me molesto bastante.

This place was ok. The security there is no so good. I got my iPod stolen there. Not cool, but staff are ok. Internet is like 3euro/hr. Close to Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge. Clean place.

I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is sitdown, not buffet style, so leave a little extra time to be served. The staff are not particularly pleasant, but always ended up being helpful. A nice little place, but as a female alone, not an area I'd recommend walking around alone at night.

This hostel is ok if yoy accept that if you pay for a single room, that nobody else can enter it. Nobody! The location is great but the people try to make a lots of money, so you have to pay for everything extra like internet 3 EUR per hour. there was no tv at the room and the bad was really hanging, so you should sleep on the ground. I reccomend formule 1 hotels as you really know what you get and for a good price! this hotel i will never visit again

Overall a good hostel. It is a way from the main part of Paris, but there are a bit of things to see in the area where the hostel is, including a fantastic view of the city by Sacre Coure, if that´s right... Always staffed, which is nice for those getting in late or needing something. Nice tv room with movies, though if your in Paris, why watch movies? Internet for a few euro, but not too bad. The only thing they have for guests to use, kitchen wise, are two small fridges and a microwave, which can be a minus for some. Breakfast in the morning, warm crossaints with butter and jam were the best yet, delicious. Coffee, tea, and or orange juice as well are included. Not that many bathrooms for shared use, if you go that route. Oh, and one interesting thing was when we moved into a Twin Private our toilet room doubled as a shower, our first. (You stand just next to the toilet, and wrap the curtain around you... so as to not get the toilet and sink wet.) It was quite commical, but worked out just fine. Again, the staff was great, beds just fine, location more or less okay. I would recommend it as long as you don´t mind walking 30-40 to main paris or taking the metro for about 1.40 euro each way through zone one. VERY close to Moulin Rouge and sex shops, etc. if you´re interested in that... we weren´t, but you´ll find that everywhere in Paris anyway. Good place to stay, again, if you don´t mind the location.
