The hotel is easy to find, just off the main rd, in a little dead end rue, i stayed " nights, could have stayed much longer, the place is clean, beds were changed every day, fresh towels, the bus about comes here, so you get to meet fellow travelers, the price is reasonable for Paris, location is great, easy to get to the train station, pigalle, and a 20 min, walk from the main stations.
the staff are a great family, and very helpful, typical french hotel, at a budget price, will stay here on my next visit to Paris,, enjoy it.
forgot,, the cats are friendly also, and the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast, is good. August 06, from Australia

41+ is a bit of an understatement as we are both 73. I think this surprised our hosts! They treated us with great consideration, specially giving us a room on the fifth floor to be away from the noise. It was all very friendly, comfortable and very good value. And very conveniently situated for Montmarte, and the Eurostar station Gare du Nord.

The good thing about this hostel is that the dormitories with only 3 beds feel quite secure. It's situated in Montmartre, not too far from Sacre Coeur. It's near a metro station (Pigalle) so during the day there's no problem. During the night you have to take the night bus N15 and then walk 10 min where there are many strip clubs and people harass you to get in (if you're a man), but I did not feel in danger. It's a bit far from the Seine and the main spots, but it's easy to get to in metro. The breakfeast is hostel-type : orange juice, bread, croissant and coffee/tea. The rooms are clean and the showers are too. It's not rare to have your bathroom door not closing completely, so depending on your room that could happen. (it's nothing you can't easily deal with though) They give you 1 key for 3 persons. The staff was really nice with me, I found them helpful in showing me the places and how to get to them. I would go back there if there was an occasion to go back in Paris.

Property was in good location to see a show at Moulin Rouge. Room was adequate and I slept very well. Owners were most helpful. If you are arriving late...make sure you call them. They almost gave my room away because I didn't show until 1:00 am. Would recommend hotel to others and stay again. Don't ask for a second Croissant at breakfast though...I was told firmly "no" when asking for another one by the help who serves breakfast.

This was a great location for the price in Paris! The rooms and service were what you would expect for high season and the staff were busy but both helpful and friendly when it came to the crunch!Just a lttle dubious about the roomkey system which could have been arranged with greater security I'm sure...
