The main light in my room didn't work, had to use the small light over the basin. The light in the toilet on my floor also didn't work, the lock on the toilet on the floor up was broken. No bathroom on my floor. Very pricey for what you got. Wouldn't stay here again, clean but very ordinary.

It was a very cute little hotel off a side street in Montmartre. Near Metro, restaurants, and 24hr grocery. I would definitely stay there again!

My stay at the andre gill was nice. The 3 person dorm was quite small but the bathroom and shower were really decent: roomy and very clean. No complains.
My roommates were also a lot of fun. The staff was really helpful and friendly. There were also two cats that were part of the atmosphere. Just lying around all day, yawning as they welcomed visitors. There is a metro station near by so the hostel is also well-located.

I am very disappointed by the experience I
had with the Hotel Andre in Paris.
When I got there the room smelled bad and wasn't very
clean. The photos on the website must have been of their best room. The rooms I were shown were dirty and smelly. Also I expected to shared bath but was not
expecting to have only one toilet and shower for all the rooms
on several floors of the hotel.
Even though I was disappointed with the room I told
the hotel rep I would stay one night and would just be
paying for first night. Then they told me I had to
pay for all 5 nights or else they would not rent me a
room. There was no way I was going to spend 5 nights
at that bad hotel and so I told them I was not going
to stay. Then they told me they were going to charge
me for 2 nights if I didn't stay.
I never had agreed to pay for 2 nights if I canceled
and yet they put pressure on me even saying they would
call the police. They then started being rude to me,
calling me names, and bad-mouthing Americans.
Their lack of unprofessionalism is uncalled for. I
had tried to work with them and compromise on this
matter and they resorted to very unprofessional
behaviour and threats. I did not resort to their
level and simply told them I was leaving and I did not
want to get into a fight with them.
It is appalling how rude and unprofessional they are.

This is an excellent all women family that speaks English and are very conscientious. While parts of Pigale are seamy this is close to the Metrto and a refuge from the wrst and yet close in the other direction to a very nice area.
I would stay there again.
