Although we give releatively good ratings on the categories asked, we had the significant problem of not being able to sleep. We were in the room closest to the front enterance, and heard people coming and going up and down stairs loudly, and using the bathroom outside of our room until 3AM or so. Great location in the city though. If you stay here, bring earplugs.

Nice place. The bathrooms appear clean but I am not sure how often they are fully cleaned. Bathroom on every floor. It is an older hostel but it is good to get a good nights rest. They ensure the place is quiet and dont tolerate loud partiers. Pretty close to the main districts. Easiest to take the tram but you can walk it. Staff is very helpful. Free internet is awesome. The breakfast is boild eggs, toast and juice... Woudl be nice if they had a toaster!

overall this place was not the best for the price. we stayed in two other places in amsterdam and this one was ranked 3rd for us. search harder!
we found the hostel to be clean yes, but the staff werent the helpfull, with one member being very rude, no lift is another thing, no towels, if in amsterdam, we wont be coming here again

this hostel is in a really good location within walking distance to leidesplein where all the main bars are. the staff are really helpful although the stairs are a killer
