Good hostel, but they don't have lockers for luggage! The location is great, right next to the Museetplein, and you can easily go walking till downtown. The bathroom is a little too small.

It was not where Hostel World told me it was. HOWEVER, I ended up loving where I ended up. Its beautifully located next to the Van Gogh Museum, The IAMSTERDAM sign, and the Rijk(?) Museum. Its also not from Vondelpark and Leidseplein. Turned out to be okay. BUT I was very upset that there was no storage for my bag and no locker for valuables like the website said online.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cette hotel est bien cotee. En plus, chose qui n est pas dites sur leur site: YOU MUST BOOK TWO DAYS DURING THE WEEk-END IN THIS HOTEL. OTHERWISE THEY CAN NOT REFUND YOU, IF YOU CANCELLED ONE DAY DURING THE WEEK-END.iT WAS NOT SO CLEAN AND THEY DONT PROVIDED LOCKER. THE STAFF WAS UNFRIENDLY AND NOT VERY IMPLIYED TO PROVIDED HELP. BAD HOTEL FOR THE COST OF THE ROOM

It's in a good location, but: No lockers in the rooms, lack of cooking equipment in the kitchen, the 'safe' in which our passports were kept turned out to be a cardboard box under the counter. There's a nice courtyard out the back but no furniture so it is unusable. Staff came into the room early every morning to make sure those checking out were doing so, it's kinda weird waking up to a dude with a clipboard staring at you. Simply a money making exercise. No soul. Not recommended.

Great place, the only problem is that there was no locker in one of the rooms.

Showers could be better (there was no curtain, and the towels provided--for a price--were too small), but overall this place had charm and it was a worthwhile experience.
The staff were very helpful, an oasis of nice people amongst the non-smiling people of amsterdam.

Many descriptions of the hostel were misleading and the room can not have been much larger than 2m2 for 4 people!! No window either :s

Amazing staff! Decent location right next to van gogh museum and musem square. Excellent and helpful staff and all you have to do to make it to the center of town is take the number 5 tram...you can do if for free if your sneaky
