Supposed to be a six bed bedroom. Seventh person was however put into the room and slept on the floor. Guy from desk came in almost every morning and woke everyone up, because he intended to find that one person, who had requested to be woken up or because he wanted to put an additional matress into the room etc. The mornings were way too stressful.

This was a poorly managed hostel next to museumplein. Not close to downtown, but tram is right next to it. Horrible hostel. Dirty everything. Was a very very poor experience, don't come here!

Hotel Annemarie was more like a prison than a hotel. With all the different rules they have, you couldn't move without somebody watching you. You cannot smoke anywhere not even in the courtyard out the back. Not really what we expected from a weekend in amsterdam. the flea bites from all the cats were a little annoying too. Amsterdam itself is amazing tho just don't stop here.

I was a first-timer to hostel, but really enjoyed it. The staff is very good. Location is really perfect for me - in the city centre, but on a quiet street. I'd rather stay there again.

From having reda the reviews i was dreading going to this hostel, n once we had got there there was scaffolding next to it, however once inside didn't seem too bad, make sure u look at the room before you pay up front, that way u can reassure yourself your gettin a good room, and remember to ask for the key deposit back! room was nice, clean but bit small, toilets really did smell awful and it was a bit hard work climbing three flights of stairs early in the morning but still wasn't that bad considering no curfew. breakfast was just bread cheese n jam n juice but its a hostel so you wouldn't expect anything more. Near to a shopping centre which is good n quite close to town which is even better. Overall it was an ok place!

Stayed here two nights. Great location right in the middle of Museumplein. the night guy seemed a little new, and overly conserned about certain things. The morning guy was super nice and ultra-informative. Met some really cool people.
