4 of us stayed in the hotel for 2 nights when over for the football (France 0 - Scotland 1!!). The hotel was clean and friendly and much better that I expected considering the cost and having read some past reviews. would stay in again without hesitation. weird shower though! although that might just be typical in france??

We had a good time in Paris. The people in Hotel Camelia International were always nice. the breakefast we had only once, it is ok. It is an old hotel and outside it is a littel bit spooky. All the time there was a man on the reception and you can come home when ever you want. The room was clean and tidy. We liked it and for that price it is ok.

It was my first time at Camelia International! It was nice from the staff being there, especially Max, the man that works at night; he is really a kind and friendly man who always is smiling and willing to help! Thanks everybody!

Quite a good location (close to amenities and sights e.g. Sacre Coeur). For the cheap price it was quite a good value. The only problem was that they could not check us in before 12 noon, so your claim to actually check-in before (otherwise facing penalty or cancellation) seems to be very odd.

My group of six rented three twin rooms at this hotel. Two of the rooms were fine, but one of them...let's just say that it wasn't quite as good as the others. The room was absolutely tiny, it had one window that looked across a gap in the building, I don't quite know what the gap was but it was there, but the window looked directly into the window that was in the shower of another room. The two windows were literally about 6 feet away from each other. The staff for the most part was rude and only one of them spoke English, contrary to a statement on the hotel's website saying that they speak English. On one night during our stay, I went to turn the light on in our tiny bathroom, the bulb popped and the power on the entire floor went out. My roommate and I went downstairs to tell the person working at the desk that our power was out, this is one of the workers who did not speak English. After we explained the situation he kept telling us to turn on a different switch and we just kept trying to explain that the power was out. Finally he squeezed all three of us into the elevator and made some comment about us Americans only to discover that the French couldn't magically turn the power back on by flicking light switches either. Overall the stay was fine considering that we were only at the hotel to sleep and shower, but the staff was rude, the location was not very good, and you may or may not get what you pay for.

We really enjoyed our staying in Paris, hotel stuff was very kind, nice and helpful, location was great. We had nice double room, private bathroom on the sixth floor ( dont worry, there´s a lift ), it was a bit small, but was enough for couple. Bathroom was completely new. It was the best hostel ( for prize 26 eur per person per night )we´ve ever been. I would recommend.
