Staff are excellent and so helpful with any queries you may have, or things you need organised. Location is perfect, and everything is within pleasant walking distance. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean. A very enjoyable stay, and excellent value.

We recommend! There isn't a lift though, but the staff came to pick our luggage up for us (that may not happen all the time though). We stayed at a double bed, shared bathroom. Free internet access, can recharge your ipods!! Most attractions are walkable! Well, if you consider a hr is walkable, but you get to pass by lots of interesting sites... recommended to travel on foot!

Nice location BUT very, very loud place. If you are after a quiet night don't go there. Our room was next to reception desk and we had a wakeup calls at: midnight, 3 am and then 5 am when one very loud american girl decided to have long chats with the night receprionist. He never told her to be quiet because there were people sleeping next door and kept chatting with her. Despite giving everyone keys to the front doors the bell rang quite a few times during the night and there was also loud music playing 8 am to 10 pm.
But it is cheap.

I had a fantastic time staying at your hotel, this had been way beyond my expectation, especially given the cost of my stay. The location and character of the hotel is excellent, the staff have also been very friendly and helpful, they have certainly added to my enjoyment of my time in Florence. I'd be more than happy to stay at your hotel again next time I'm in Florence

Very helpful Staff. We recomand breakfeast at "Sabrina" baker's next corner towards center. 50 m further at "Pirat" delicatessen they have "all you can eat" for 6 EUR 7-10 p.m. and superb house wine 3 EUR per half bottle.

The hostel is very nice. The people that work there are also very nice. I would improve a bit the quality of the showers, that's all.

The staff at Hotel Sampaoli were extremely helpful, on arrival they reccommended local restaurants to eat and pointed us in the right direction for all the sights. One of the blokes even went as far to lend us his umbrella when he actually needed to go out.
The place gives you free internet which is very useful. The room had everything we needed including a TV and DVD player and some lovely antique furniture. All in all a lovely place to stay, would definatly go back if I returned to Florence.

Located fairly near the Florence sights and is less expensive than some other hotels. Staff was helpful with recommending dinner locations and arranging for a taxi for an early morning departure from the airport.

My friend and I found the staff extremely pleasant. They even went as far to help us by booking our tickets to see 'David'. The whole place was immaculate. When I return to Florence I will be staying at the Hotel Sampaoli and will be telling friends and family to do the same.
