We enjoyed our stay at the Inner Amsterdam. It is like other reviews said: you get what you pay for! but other than that it was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a shared room and met some lovely people. The location Inner Amsterdam from where it is all happening is a nice little walk but for lazy walkers the distance is something to consider (although there is a tram as well). Good hostel to sleep in, not so good for meeting people. The common room was deserted and the bar was always closed. Staff were quite unfriendly but the place was quite clean and the bathrooms were inside the room.

very small lockers, they are safety deposit boxes, but are free. we had a 4 bed dorm, we had a cellar window and tiny room and the shower didnt work, we;ve stayed in better, much better.

There was a broken condom on my floor. Bathrooms smelled despite the sheets, towels and pillows being clean. The hostel is not very social in terms of environment - not much of a community aspect. Didn't know you had to pay for internet use!?

Don´t exspect too much and you will have a good time. You get what you can exspect for the price and if you only want to sleep there is defenitly acceptable. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good, too.
