The staff were very helpful. It was within walking distance of most things we wanted to see. There are internet cafes all around the area. Also, there are some interesting day trips that you can book through the hostel.

excellent activities facilities - pool table, two different lounge rooms with nice TVs, computers, jukebox, good laundry facilities. the bathrooms and the kitchen were often quite dirty, however. the location is excellent and it's a lot of fun hanging out with fellow hostel-stayers in the activities rooms, but you might have to search for a clean shower and clean dishes.

I loved Isaacs Hostel and I had several friends who were staying at other hostels and once they saw Isaacs they switched, it was a great place to be.

the breakfast is pretty frugal and the storage lockers are in the basement, not the rooms, which is sort of inconvenient. location is good, right near the bus stations, seems a little unorganized since there were people sleeping in our assigned beds. not terrific but decent for the price of the dorm rooms.

The only problem was the train right outside the window! Then again, it helped us get up early to go sightsee, so maybe you could bill it as an alarm clock? Otherwise, I had a great time!
