the showers couldn't be regulated with the heat, so they were either too hot or freezing. the place was not as clean as i could be and i wished i could have gotten two sheets. the people that stayed there were cool and the staff was helpful but it was dirty.

All was fine, warm people, a lot of party and a lot of things to see close to the hostel.

The bathrooms were dirty and the toilets were often clogged. I was also charged my credit card more money than they told me that I would be charged.

dont expect to take showers here, or use the toilet. there are also bed bugs which bite, so beware.. but i think this is the commom state of all the hostels in dublin, i would recommend just getting a hotel. also, ladies, go with the all female dorm rooms, cause the mixed bed rooms will have an unpleasant stench.

It felt like a converted pub. It was really dark, but they sufficiently warn you about the security problems they have had in the past.

There were security procedures in place for residents returning after 11pm, but they didn't seem to be strictly enforced.

After travelling to different cities and staying in many hostels throughout Europe in the last 5 months, Issac's would have to be one of the worst that I have experienced. The bathrooms are extreamly dirty and inadequenet cleaning products are supplied to hostellers, to wash their own dishes. The bread at breakfast is inedible. Security is a concern and there are some dodgy characters around. Issac's needs to clean up their act. I don't know how it was recommened by the Lonely Planet. Not sure what other hostels are like in Dublin. There is not much else to say

I paid on Saturday for a room on Sunday night. I check out Monday morning and they tried to make me pay again. I had a receipt telling me that I had the room for sunday night, but the employee put in the wrong thing and didnt have it ring up. Please train your staff better

It's a good place for backpackers. always possible to meet some nice guys in kitchen or in the very good living room basement. The only problem is about beer snatching... when you buy some cans, ya should drink em at once. The school classes are a problem too.
