The location is perfect, the room was ok but the showers were REALLY BAD!!!

it's in a dodgy area and you can see people changing through the glass. big space, but not enough lighting. and there were mocos on the wall next to the toilet.

They should issue new or functional entry swipe cards. I was given a worn out one. I did not always work to get through security doors.
Excellent. I loved the place. The communal areas are great. I was only in town one day, but I made friends quickly and we went out and watched a Gaelic football game in a pub.

The showers (on the third floor, atleast) are way too bloody hot. I think I screamed a little when I turned it on and ended up taking sink baths for my three days there. Beyond that, a great time.

All six toliets were clogged, staff was unfriendly and unlike the shown picture this hostel is in an Alley with the local Train(Dart) running overhead. The room was nice with some horrible mattresses. I would not suggest to anyone but the most desparate.
I have been with a friend for four days in Ireland at Isaac Hostel. It was correct. Staff depending of which person were friendly. We have been 3 nights on the first floor. This one was clean and the toilets and shower was correct too. It can be more clean but it's not a 5stars! The showers and toilets were separate male and female the other way. The last night was totaly different!!!! Mixted showers and toilets on the floor. Shower all together boys and girls really WOW! No respect of the different sexe! How can you take a shower and know that the other side when you will go out it will have the opposite sexe in front of you! By chance the shower as a curtain! For the room it was a the 3rd floor beside the rail of noisy trains. Wake up early in the morning ... good for those who want to visit everything in the morning... FORGET the breakfast!!! 1st morning only toast with jelly an apple and a banana and a coffee! The others 3morning was only the bread and if you have chance! a bit of jelly. Even at the begginning of ''the service''. I understand now why it have a frigo!
The peep holes in the women's showers need to be filled in.
