You don't get the comfort feeling of a hostel b/c it's more like a hotel then anything. Although, there is loads of diversity and plenty of people to meet. Great access to bus station!

The only major complaint was that the beds were not made when we went to the room, which apparently happened the entire time we were there. One bed was not made, so someone else was sleeping in one of our beds, which in turn gave everyone a different bed. When one person went and asked for new linens, she was told just to change rooms.

Wonderful location- right near O'Connell St, friendly, helpful staff, and you can't beat the price of the large dorms! Would recommend to anyone on a budget looking for a nice place to stay. Would not recommend large dorm rooms to couples looking for a romantic getaway.

we like our stay in Jacobs Inn, but it should have been better with a real breakfast and not with this kind of bread which was mouldy.

The hostel is huge. I think the building used to be a hotel. It depends on the room you get to have a very noisy night becouse half of the building it's 50 meters away of a railway station. On the other side it's next to the bus station and Connolly train station, so if you're planning to stay a night it's a good choice. The kitchen was always crowded and not very clean. Good hostel to live in but not so good to know people.

Security it good here, but only if you want to pay extra for it. Otherwise, this place is a really nice place to stay with a good location. I loved Dublin!
