I stayed in this hostel twice in the past month, and both experiences were great. The private rooms are very nice, with towels and a flatscreen TV. The dorm room was surprisingly roomy, beds were along either side of the room and there was plenty of floor space for coming and going. Breakfast included, helpful staff, 24-hour reception, keycard required to access elevator/stairs and rooms, 5 minute walk from the bus station, and pretty close to city centre/Temple Bar area. Free wifi, but you have to pay to use their computers w/internet. I had a great experience!

Some of the staff was amazing but some of the staff was really rude. Its a toss up on who youre going to get. The kitchen was bad-- too small and always full of people. Breakfast was just bread and apples.

The apartment rooms are very nice considering they are in a hostel. Bathrooms were really modern and clean.

We need more spoons and knives, pans and pots. But the hostel is so good.

Good simple place to stay. Breakfast restaurant attached, so convenient. Good movies in common room each night.
Only further comment is the floor -- it could use a good washing in the dorm bedroom. Otherwise staff was very helpful, answered all my questions.
Thanks.

I would and will recommend Jacobs Inn to friends. Really like the hostel, the only complain I had during my stay was about the roommates I had, who were scotish, so nothing to do with the place but with the people and their behaviors.

The hostel is clean, but only I have one claim, that we need more pans and pots, and newer, is imposible to fry anything because it fix to the pan.

Idealistic for those who run Dublin Matathon: less than a mile from the start and...finish lines. And I could sleep decently. The staff team was very helpful and constantly nice. Merci beaucoup.

A bit hard to find, but I think that was my fault. En suite bathroom (and hallway bathroom, too) for the 12-bed mixed room. No soap, no towels, but that's normal; there was hot water. Free breakfast (it's on the left, not the right, where the restaurant is). Kitchens open to use for residents. Thank you to the staff :)
