The hostel was great. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was clean, friendly and close to the train station and bus staion... and pubs!

Was amazed by the spaciousness of the rooms and the adjoined bathrooms - just like in a hotel! Was only annoyed by the fact that the rooms were not accessible for four hours every day - surely cleaning can't take that long...

This hostel felt Very clean at all times. Everywhere I went smelled like cleaning solutions! The dorm was very spacious, and the cages in the locker room were plenty big enough to lock up all of my belongings and then some! The proximity to Busaras is GREAT! The only issue I had was that I booked a female only room, but was given a bed in a mixed dorm. It wasn't too big of a deal though as I was only staying there for one night. I am going to be staying there twice more when I go back to Ireland!! Thanks guys!

Very clean place. Staff are very nice people. Internet falls down every 10 minutes and takes 2 minutes to come back. You have to be out of the rooms from 1100am to 3pm, though on the other hand when you are back they are very clean. The kitchen is closed 1:30pm-3:00pm, which can be annoying depending on your cultural lunch schedules. Over all, this is a great place to be on all the other points.

My and my friend spent two great nights at Jacobs Inn and we like it both, expecially for the staff humorism and kindness! Breakfast included could be a little better (more choice is needed in may oppinion)but everything else was wonderful!

The Jacobs Inn is one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in!It's clean, secure and the staff is very friendly. It's in walking distance to Dublin city center and very close to the Dublin Busareas and the Conolly Station. We had a 2 bed room with a private bathroom. The room was huge!Because the hostel it's close to the railstation you might be bothered by the noise of the trains in the early morning. We can't say anything about the provided breakfast since we skipped it for a nice Irish Breakfast downtown. We didn't use the kitchen or any other facilities so we can't judge those. Enjoy your stay in Dublin!
