Not a fan. Great location, but overall pretty poorly run. Doesn't pay any attention the room you book, no real rhyme or reason. Very basic, not especially helpful or friendly.

I booked three female beds at Jazz on South Beach Hostel for two nights. The first night was ok. However, the second night we walked into our room and then it's just become a mixed dorm with at least three guys in it. We were NOT informed of this change at all. When I talked to people at the front desk, they just said that it's just overbooking and this kind of thing happens in hostel (which NEVER EVER happened in any other hostels that I've stayed in before). This place is conveniently located near Ocean Drive/South Beach, shoppes and South Beach Nightlife. The employees were polite and helpful and the place was clean. There is a full kitchen for those who like to make homecooked meals. I couldn't believe teh location and the accomodation we were abe to gt for the price. I'm DEFINITELY coming here again. I truly believe it's money well spent.

Music was played loudly until 2:00am without any intervention of the staff. The music continued in another room until 3:00am. Other guest kept bringing their girlfriends to sleep with them in an all male room. The only enforcement of the rules were to post signs; however, I do not believe any of the guest obeyed the posted signs. No air conditioning in the room, which a window was opened to cool off room. The Hostel and the staff is amazing. I just booked for 3 nights and extented for another 5 nights. I can just recommend that hostel to everybody. I had a great time.
