Some of the statements on the internet site are not true or at least not at the moment we were there. This is the offered breakfast of John and David, that everybody is handed a key and well that is it. However I enjoyed my stay at the hostel.

It was my first trip in Berlin and everything in that hostel was adequate. The staff was wonderful and I had a lot of fun with the other residents of the hostel.

A good place to stay in Berlin. They care about their guests. Nice neighborhood for small shopping as well. Would come back if in area again.

Very clean. The host keept everything in order. I felt like I was treated very well. The manager of the hostel took me around and showed me some fantastic things as well. Oh, and he folded my laundry. What a place!

This is a pretty great hostel. The breakfas is pretty lame but there are lots of little stores around where you can buy fresh bread and vegetables. If I were coming back to Berlin I would probably stay here again. Half of the staff are really nice but the other half are also lame and bordeline rude. No bunk beds. NICE shower!

John's was a great place to stay! Located in a nice area, close to the train station and a short trip to anywhere in the city. Our host Jorg, went above and beyond and made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

ok, John is an anti social guy, but the rest is great. Especially Jurg, he's a funny guy and he knows shit loads about Berlin. ask him about the cake shop! If Jurg is reading this can u say goodbye to Yogi 4 me didnt see her this morning.
