I had a very pleasent experience staying at this hostel. It is small and quiet, with comfortable wooden beds (no bunk beds) and friendly staff. If I come back to Berlin I will definitely stay here again.

I had a great time at John's hostel! Because of the cosy atmosphere and the nice people I met I liked staying here. And the staff was great too:thank you Jörg for spending so much time with me and for showing me all these nice places in berlin!I'll surely come back!

The hostel was clean and personable. It had a quiet common room which was a good place to meet people and an imtimate kitchen which was also a social place. The beds were the nicest in any hostel I've seen and you can't beat the price.

This was a perfect little hostel. Cozy kitchen, cozy lounge area, cozy rooms, and cozy price! The staff rocked and so did the crowd that was staying there. But if your plans are to hit the clubs every night then maybe you shouldn't stay here. If you do you'll end up getting sucked into drinking profuse amounts of alcohol every night around the kitchen table with everyone and you'll never want to leave!
