its a nice and cheap place to live, with a verry convienient location. However, I do have to warn you that security might be a issue since my friend's wallet was stollen on our last day of the trip. We were only gone for 5 mins and yet the bag was gone when we came back. If you have big important stuffs like laptops, they do provide a free locker for you to use and you will be the only person with keys to that lock. Conclusion: I will definitely come back because its cheap! LOL..

The walls are paper thin... You can hear everything going on in the next room. Even someone whispering... Too noisy but besides that was ok.

Requires a better stove in the twin bunk building. Twin bunk rooms become cramped once luggage is deposited in room.

It was like staying in a dorm for me, but I am 40. I think it works very well if you plan on staying for a while, not just one night like my friend and I.

My wife and I stayed at the Annex for an entire week and we loved the accommodation's. It was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood but very close to the metro where everything is easily accessible. If we make it back to Japan we will stay here again. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke very good English.

just because something is cheaper doesnt mean its better or worth it. Paid 5000 for a cramped room, thin walls, unfriendly staff, no laundry, shared semi-clean shower. Just beacuse its cheap doesnt mean you should be given no amenities or poor quiality.

Anytime I go to Tokyo, I always go to Khaosan Annex. The staff is super friendly adn can speak English. In fact, they are so nice that I've come to think of them as my friends. The place is very clean. It's in a good location, near tourist attractions and subway lines. It's also one of the most affordable hostels in Tokyo. I would highly recommend this place if staying in Tokyo.
