My brother's sandals got stolen, so maybe there should be a better system of assigned shoe space and hopefully no-one will take your shoes.
The free high-speed internet was great. I really appreciated it. Having easy access to information through the internet was invaluable.
It was a little diificult climbing four floors with my luggage. Also, on the last night of my stay the bathing room's shower became clogged.
It was also great being able to interact with others from all over the world.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good price, decent rooms/facilities. Although its across the bridge and a tiring walk from the subway station exits/food/sights, its still near enough to the main Asakusa area to have a good time both at night and at day. No problems with security, but not a lot of people on the streets/alleys in the area, which makes walking-around seem very quiet compared to other parts of Tokyo.

this place is an excellent hostel to stay in tokyo. it is a stones throw away from the ginza as asakusa lines therefore maing it easy to get around tokyo. the place is clean and lots of fun. friendly staff. bar 23 around the corner. the only draw back is the rooms are partioned so you can hear pretty much everything that anyone says !

We had an excellent time at Khaosan Tokyo Asakusa Annex. It is really cheep, nice and the staff is very nice. We had free access to internet and one free drink per night in a bar near. However I was a little disappointed with the rooms. The rooms are separated by thin wood walls that don't reach the ceiling, so you hear all that goes one in all the other rooms, toilet and common space and there is light all over the night. It's a great place to meet persons but if you need some rest after a hard walking seesighting day it's not the best.

The only thing that I can complain about are the pillows you get. Othervise it's been good.
