This place was awesome. It reminded me of being at summer camp, only way more fun.

During the summer, the hostels get really really hot, and I could barely sleep through the night. The mattress also makes an awful lots of noise everytime you moves, which makes sleeping even more difficult. But overall, it wasn't bad. I think the staffs were really nice; and the location was superb.

Great place to stay at! People were great fun to be with! I loved the atmosphere, building etc. Staff did their best even though it was really busy weekend. Basement was really really really hot, contrary to all the known laws of physics, but we opened a trap door in the dorms and that made it a whole lot cooler. For the price, this was the absolute best place - would definitely stay here again!

The cheap ass plastic matrasses suck, the number of people jammed in an basement with no ventilation is rediculous, and reminds me of wartime, and the staff is not helpfull nor friendly at all !!! (except for the nice blond guy, and Charlotte)

July 2008- The personnel was very helpful and courteous. They have posted signs to let them know if there was noise after 11:00 so it was quiet. The place was clean and the bathrooms were cleaned up many times a day, including at night time around 11:00 so they were impeccable when we got up. Free Canada & US phone calls, free wireless Internet and 2 computers available. Free lockers and $2 locks if you don't have any. Clean sheets, pillow & towels provided. Right in the heart of Old Montreal, c
