The music in the lounge was very loud (heavy bass) the whole evening and night. That was the only thing i would criticise. Anything else was perfect there.

El chico que estaba en recepción sólo hablaba inglés, ni siquiera portugués! ese detalle no me gustó demasiado

Good value. Acoustics within the rooms are bad. You could hear others in the lounge, dining room and people in the bathrooms.

PROS: extremely clean, good breakfast, nice staff, modern and new appeal, every room got a different style theme, video room with flat screen TV, DVD player and some DVDs, wireless internet, 3 Internet PCs, 20 meters from metro station; CONS: slamming (and sleep waking) bathroomdoors (please put some felt pads on or do anything else about it!), towels are 1 Euro a piece (generally ok, but didn’t mention that on page until now), mattresses and pillows causing tension in the morning, no closet;

The breakfast was perfect. I thought I was very hygenic they had someone to do the washing up, so liters of water do not get spilled over everyone washing a single dish.

Really clean, really cool hostel. Perfect location in the old part of the city free breakfast, dinner for 8 euro if you want plus a bar. There were only two toilets and 3 showers for our end of the hall of over 10 people though so sometimes you had to wait
