A little out of the way. Very nice court and rooftop. Excellent WC / showers.

Excellent location not far from the Opera metro station. Rooms were not lockable but lockers with padlocks for hire are available in every room for every guest. A light for every bunk bed was really thoughtful. A female traveller did mention it was a bit inconvenient due to the the mixed dorm rooms. Payable internet access is available at the reception & you can also make chargeable calls from the reception as well.

Staff were very helpful both when my mate lost his wallet and when another had too much ice/Havana Club. Good common room/kitchen area which actually provided cereal for breakfast and not just toast. 6 person room small and hot but enough, showers/toilets were clean and plentiful. Security could be a bit of an issue but I had no problems. A very good hostel.

Right in the heart of Madrid. Large rooms. No queue for showers (although the hostel was fully booked). Good atmosphere. Poor breakfast though. Very nice hostel in the whode.

Upon arrival, you receive a top sheet and a pillow case. You would think that the top sheet is meant as such, and that the fitted sheets already on the beds are the bottom sheets. Not true. The top sheet is sewn in the corner so that you slide into it. Why: because they DO NOT CHANGE THE BOTTOM SHEET. I find that appalling. Yes, perhaps the top sheet is supposed to serve as the entirety of the bedding, but I think most people would assume otherwise, as I did.

Nice place, good people. The staff was awesome and really helpful. Breafast wasn´t so great. Just bread and some tea which really doesn´t cut it for me but I was only there for one night so it was alright.
