Lub d is easily the best hostel I have stayed in. It's funky, clean, convenient, and fun. They provide every service that you could possibly want (tours, tv/movies, bar, internet, games...and the list goes on). My only complaint is that if you are traveling with a partner or are looking for some privacy, then the price of the private rooms is a little expensive, as there are very nice hotels in Bangkok (The Legacy Suites for example) that offer more and can be booked for around the same price. Lub d was an excellent hostel to stay in. It is perfect for the price you pay. Its clean, cheap, the staff are friendly and you get to use the internet for free.

I found it clean and having a phoner extension in the twin room was a valuable add on for us.

DON'T use the travel agent that is located on the premises - I paid 2,600 baht for a 3 day/2 night trek in Chiang Mai which turned out to cost, on average in our group (I asked everyone out of curiosity) 1,200 - 1400 baht - so double the price is incredibly cheeky! Come on Lub D - you have an awesome hostel and shouldn't be allowing this to happen!
