This hostel is very quiet. It has a lot going for it, they organise activities, and the basic set-up isn't bad but it is far from fun. There are a million signs about not drinking and not doing this and that. It is a great hostel if you want a quiet time, but definitely stay somewhere else if you want to party more. Also, the set-up isn't great if you're travelling alone as you wont meet ppl unless u go out of your way...a bit lonely!

I am sorry that you did not have a fun time with us. We organise a nightly activity so that guests are able to meet and hang out as we are aware with our small dorm rooms it can be hard to meet otherwise. Guests that join us on our planned events seem to find them enjoyable, fun and sociable. Our bar downstairs with $3.00 pints every day for hostel guests is also providing a good meeting point. Drinking is allowed in the hostel, we just ask you to keep it in the common rooms rather than in the hallways and rooms as that can cause a disturbance to our non- partying guests.

Absolutely wicked hostel, been travelling around the world for 5months and this was probably the best hostel we stayed in. Staff were really helpful, loads do to there, friendly atmosphere, meals they do very good, and breakfast provided is awesome too.

great location, just a few blocks from the hip and trendy gaslamp district. the staff was very friendly and helpful. and there were plenty of fun activities to keep you entertained. it kinda had a weird feet smell, but who cares? It was good times!

I had a great time at this hostel during the Comic-Con. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Convention Centre, and so well suited to what I needed. The hostel itself was clean, and the staff was very helpful. For instance, my room key for some reason stopped working and it was immediately dealt with and fixed.

I stayed there 4 nights and felt good being there. I was there on business so I wasn't able to participate in all the activities that they had planned.
They are having renovations done to some of the areas to make the place even better. They don't have air conditioning which only causes a problem on really hot days. They do have ceiling fans in each room and a Wi-Fi wireless router for each floor and it is secured with a pass key. That was the best part.

This is a hostel with a wide range of cool people. There are plenty of activities going on in a very central location (easy walk from greyhound) and best of all it's new so the beds, decor, carpets etc are fresh and nice. Good chilled place to stay
