A very pleasant house-turned-hostel, with a lot of family feel to it still. Has great common spaces and a nice terrace as well. Only downside is location, but if you don't mind taking a tram to downtown every day then you're OK (bear in mind that night transportation is much worse- I took a taxi at 3am for 5 pounds to take me to the hostel in order to avoid waiting over an hour for the next tram). Oh, they have a good breakfast too.

Lucky-hostel is just a good hostel. The dorms are small and dark, but OK. The kitchen, living room en terrace are spacious and nice. The staff is OK, but not very much involved in backpackers-life. The bathrooms (3) are good, the only disadvantage is that toilet and shower are in the same room, so, especially in the morning, it can happen that you have to wait for someone else.

Rather small rooms in a house pretty far outside the center of Gdansk. But there is a large common room, 2 terraces, and a large kitchen (tea and coffee always there for free). The rooms and bathrooms are very well cleaned and they also do your laundry for only 5 zl.

Nice hostel. A little bit away from the town, but it is easy to take the bus. Met a lot of nice people there. Good breakfast too.

Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, clean facilities. The only downside was the location - a little outside stumbling distance from the city centre.

This hostel is a bus ride away from the city centre so you may get charged a bit more if you get a cab from the airport. They do provide a free bus ride though which is good. Also make sure that you have cash to pay as they don't take cards. It is also advisable to have the correct change. The staff are absolutely lovely. We didn't have any cash when we arrived and we were lent bus fare to get to town! Bless...
