Luna Rossa was amazing. It was recommended to me by one of my friends that had studied abroad last year. Needless to say, I've recommended it to all of my friends who want to experience the beauty of Florence. The location is great and there are plenty of options as far as restaurants nearby. It is also convenient for the main market and is within walking distance to all of the major landmarks. *The wireless works and is FREE. Can't beat that*.
But, the best part of the Luna Rossa experience is Marco. He is genuinely interested in your stay and really goes the extra mile as far as hospitality. I would definately go back.
*He also has the 411 on the best gelato in town. =)

This hostel is AMAZING. Marco is an awesome guy that runs the place and is really friendly and nice. The hostel was very clean, very reasonably priced, safe, and located perfectly. The fact that we had a computer in our room with internet for free was a great plus!
HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Luna Rosa.

The guy, Marcus (I supose that is his name) is very very nice, really friendly and kind. It is really good to meet this kind of person when you're travelling. One big kiss for him.

Staff very helpful - as a hostel it was very very good - the unlimited free access to internet and email (in our room) was amazing as was the extensive television, cable, satellite channel access

Amazing, Marco is fantastic. Rooms are clean, huge, with PC and satellite TV in them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Following the written directions, not the map - it's in the wrong place on the map.

We were very happy with Luna Rossa. Marco was very helpful and his staff were great too. We had a huge room and did share a bathroom which was no problem at all. We had free internet and TV and when we arrived we were given a map of Florence and all the main sights were circled for us so we had no problem getting around. We were treated so nicely and had a great time. The price was very reasonable and the hostel was very clean, easy to find and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this hostel for anyone traveling to Florence.

yes marco is doing a good job.. don take him up[ on a gmae of ping pong unless you are chinese or professional.. or you have been practicing a lot recenlty

You cant pay with credit card and Internet in our room didn´t work, but I think that is the best hostel than i have been.
