Doors lock with keycards so if you trust the people in your room, you can leave your stuff there, otherwise count on carrying it with you. Not too far from the Colosseum. Cheap pasta/pizza across the street, but watch out: drinks are 5-8 euros!

Malos, de cojones!! la calefacción durante dos días sin ponerla, en plena semana de nochevieja. Sacarse dinero que se debe a última hora, porque sí... y claro no dar tiempo a averiguar porqué, ya que hay que coger tren y avión en la vuelta.
En fin no lo recomiendo a nadie!

I will always go back to M&J when in Rome. It isn't the most sterile environment, but it's sufficient and i met many great people in the common area next to the kitchen. free internet, no curfew or lockout, and the staff are fantastic. the included breakfast is good, too. there is a great feeling of community at M&J that i haven't quite found in other hostels.

The female dormies are very bad, and doesn't have lockers to keep the backpacks during the day.....Not warm water in the shower....And the toillets from outside the room, are always dirty and bad conditions!!!!
