I had a bad room experience, but that was because of the people that were staying in my room. I would say the 10 euro a night dorm is a great value for this hostel. Barring of course a stay with bad people.

Location was ok for tram/underground connection though there was not much else around. Even the taxi driver had issues finding it. Place was clean. There were no security lockers in the dorms which was annoying. Staff were very friendly and we even received 20mins of free internet time for booking through hostels.com!

Staff was great Jana in particular was extremely helpful - I thought the location was great but also very noisy - not just the people on the street (who sat up yelling thru the night - there are signs inside saying please keep the noise down after 10:00 why not outside too?) woke me early but also the metro across the road kept me awake at night.

The Bar and Lounge is nice place for meeting people. The beer is cheap ! You can even take your breakfast on the roof of the building, with a nice view of south Berlin. GET SUBWAY TICKET !!!

The hostel charges you 3 euros per hour for their wifi service, which sucks!!! But besides that, the place is clean and safe and they offer a great breakfast buffet for free! The staff was great.

Really enjoyed this place, breakfast on the terrace was nice and a cheap resturant nearby selling pizza at €2, a little bit of a walk to anything but harmless when you pig out on pizza on the way! Right next to the Metro if ya wanna explore at ease! Look out for the pub crawl in Berlin, highly recommended, you'll meet loads of really cool people while drinking for €10. Enjoy! I will be back!
