This Meininger Hostel keeps up the good level of the other Meininger I have been to in Munich. Clean, friendly, cheap and offering an excellent breakfast. The location is not great, but it is very close to a station that can take you almost anywhere (Hallescher Tor.) I booked a room for 5 and the room was for 6 and, on Monday, I was moved to another room (I suppose it was some kind of re-arrangement.) No lockers available. However, these small inconveniences, should not change the fact that it is a nice place to spend some days in Berlin. Very recommended.

Only suggestion would be lockers in Rooms attached to beds. Security when you sleep.

This hostel was clean and secure. I wish that my room did not need a deposit to get the TV remote and turn on the TV, but other rooms had TV included. The hostel could be reached via S- and U- Bahn in 10 minutes from major stations. The main social point was the bar next door, and it had a lot of student German bus groups.

It was all in all a good visit. They were pretty friendly and the location was just a four minute walk from a U or S station. The breakfast was good and it was pretty clean. I didn't get a chance to do the free tour but if i were you i would do it. The one in Munich was awesome.

the mixed room . the free 'all you can eat' lunch and the "douche" in the room. + location near to U-bahn is one the best i have see in europe.

Very very good breakfast. Very nice staff and close to the "U-Bahn" - the metro which takes you quick in every part of the city.
