I booked this hostel before taking the time to read the reviews expecting greatness and thats what we got. The rooms were always clean and the lengths the cleaners went to maintain our room was brilliant. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and the general vibe of the place was very reassuring for us Aussies who have been away from home for so long... I will be coming back to Berlin soon and i will not hesitate to stay at Meininger City Hostel. Great Job Guys :)

Very gentle staff prepared to share info about the city, events, etc. Location is perfect for those looking to explore Kreutzberg alternative world! Easy access to the subway and a worthwhile breakfast included!!! Consider this option!

This is the best hostel I've never been. Friendly staff, quite location with nice river view. Modern and clean interior. Breakfast is good as hotel. Cheap price Good quality!!!

I didnt think it was too expensive at all to stay there, and I could go in and out whenever I wanted. Also, it was pretty close to an Ubahn stop, which made it easy. The directions on the site for this hostel were a bit confusing though, so it took me a little bit longer to find it (via Ostbahnhof). I would not mind staying there again though.
Very friendly and helpful staff and lovely clean rooms and bathroom. Great breakfast. No complaints whatsoever.
