I spent a whole week here and i liked it a lot! The staff was very friendly the location just perfect (close to Bund and Nanjing road but still in a small street with daily life away from the main traffic.

I was in Shanghai for one week in August and I had a great time. The people there were great. The staff was very helpful. That was my first hostel experience and it was much better than I thought it would be.

I stayed in a 4 mixed bedroom. It had no window and after seven there was some loud music and laughter coming from the bar downsatairs. If you do not want to be in the room before midnight it's fine but if you arrive early and want to take a nap. FORGET IT!! It won't happen, too noisy.

Great hostel, great location, worth every penny. The rooms (4 bed dorm) were small but nice, and the air-con was fantastic (which is very important in Shanghai). Bathrooms are very clean. Would go there again any day.

nice hostel to live in, about a 10 minute walk from the nanjing east road subway station and felt safe. the staff is friendly and seems to know the surroundings very well. the only dissatisfaction during my stay was an elderly gentleman in the same room who snored very loudly and moved around the room like a monster during odd hours of the night. otherwise the stay was great.

This is my favorite hostel. Great staff, fun environment, and clean facilities. Can't beat breakfast, lunch, and foot massages within a 1 minute walk.

Awesome time in Hiker! Loved it. It is very close to the bund and subway line 2. Also close a train ticket selling place. It was a great experience.
