Great pool table and social place. Beer machine. Very good hostel!! Only the breakfast is a bit small, not eat as much as you can.

The rooms are tiny like no other, but there is air conditioning, the beds are nice and they provide linens. There is a cool common room if you wan to be social. The one awesome thing about this hostel is the location, just because it is so near to the Atocha train station, the Reina Sofia and the Prado. It is an easy 10 minute walk. However, everything else really blows. The restaurant in that part of Madrid are shit. You are better off buying bread at the Market. Madrid really blows, just go to the Prado and get out. There are too many theives, my friend got his bag stolen in the metro. But other than that the hostel is small but really nice.

Highly recommended, its fairly quiet and clean, good place to rest, but also access to plenty of nightlife. Careful when walking around the streets after dark though.

We got a free upgrade to our own room. Rooms were very small - fine for sleeping but not much room for anything else.

the guy who owns the hostel decided to cut costs on two things 1) water, and 2) the kitchen. beginning with the water, showering and doing anything is really fun if you like doing it in an airport bathroom. all the water is push button timed, and showering is a pain in the ass. regarding the kitchen: there is damn near nothing to cook with, nothing to drink with, and only spoons to eat with. so plan your meals around that and then enjoy wondering why you went through all that trouble while you watch a repetition of music videos on a flat screen tv. which by the way- paying for the cable bills and energy to have that thing could easily pay for better dish ware which is arguably more important. the lockers were the best lockers i've used in europe. the bar was never open except for breakfast. and the breakfast isn't all you can eat. so just get a croissant because it is the best thing you'll have going for you in the morning. staff didn't really know what they were talking about when i asked them the best way to get to the airport, so they vary on helpfulness. and the internet is not 24 hours. this place was way too chill- stay at CATS, the sister hostel if you want to partay.
