I expected much less from this hostel but I got surprised by what it offered (flat screen TV in the lounge, kitchen, clean toilets, billard, internet, ...). The lounge was the best, people gather to meet other new people. Nice and Friendly atmosphere.

ostello centralissimo e pulito. Buon posto per conoscere gente ma NON l'ideale x divertirsi

I liked the Mad hostel... the street is calm, but you are only 10 minutes away from everything.. It is clean, and the commun room is very nice. The locker sistem is very good, but small. The staff is note friendly, but i didn`t mind. It has no estra activities, what is a shame...
the only thing i really hated is that if you are in the bed nearest to the ground, you can not seat on it because of its high.

This hostel was actually really fun. I several people while waiting to use the internet and we hung out in the bar, the terrace and then went out to a pub. The girl at the bar could have been nicer and two of the four internet computers were not working. The showers are decent but bring flip-flops. Breakfast was good, coffee or hot chocolate, doughnut, corn flakes or croissant and orange juice. Plus there are vending machines with snacks and drinks and also washers and dryers that you can pay to use. There was only one plug in the room which one of my roomates used so i couldn't charge my phone. I really enjoyed my stay because of the people I met though.

convenient, safe, clean and compact, (very compact!) The only complaint I had was that breakfast was minimal, the greatest annoyance being that the coffee (or juice) was served in little plastic cups and was limited to one per customer. However, the problem was solved by going out for breakfast and spending another 1.5 EU on a great cup of coffee and churros. Just don't expect their breakfast to tide you over for very long. One other little difficulty for the heat wave challenged. There is airconditioning. HOWEVER, it is controlled by the front desk and they never seem to feel the heat. hmmmm. otherwise it's a great place to stay with lots of character.

Mad Hostel is a fun place to stay. The rooms are clean but very very small with hardly any air ventilation. They have huge lockers which is very convienent.. but their key system sucks.. and its a pain to try to get into your own room. Their bathrooms and showers are clean too. The hostel hosts bar crawls almost every night.. which is very fun and social (but the drink coupons are a joke.. as well as the guy whos in charge of it). Its in an okay location, walking distance from some sights. My main complaint was that one late night I got harrassed by another person staying in the hostel, and i couldnt get into my room (because of their stupid key system) I ran downstairs to get help and the person at the main desk was hanging out with a drunk friend of his.. and they both laughed at me.. I felt very unsafe at that point. When i did get into my room I felt trapped. All in all.. its a good hostel. Id probably stay there again.

The door keys are very hightech and can be hard to use at first. There are no clear instructions on how to use them. The locker room could be a bit more secure, but while youre staying there the personal lockers are perfect.

Great place to meet new people and a great idea with the security tags for lockers and rooms.
