Mad hostel was pretty fantastic. It is very lively and animated, filled with college students eager to take in the nightlife. It was very easy to meet people, and there was no language barrier. I would only stay clear of Mad if you are looking for quiet evenings or a more private trip. Otherwise, this is the place to be!

Only "problem" I can think of was that the AC went off during the night time. Very hot the first night when the window was closed. Then we learned. KR Espen

We spent a really nice stay at mad hostel Really secured, really clean The rooms are a bit too small but we didn't care about that (you can stay in the bar part, on the roof...) Open roof is funny Don't hesitate : go to Mad Hostel!

Enjoyed our stay here, staff exceptionally helpful, I'd highly recommend this place. Only the kitchen is a bit small and messy.

Great place. My first hostel experience and I loved it. The only thing you need is lounge chairs on the roof. And maybe a bigger kitchen.
