Ivan and John are awesome people, and they run a great "ship". Very cozy place and felt more like home than a hostel.

Wonderful long term people there. VERY relaxed atmosphere. Close to DART and thus Dublin is only minutes away. Feels like you're staying with family.

I would not recommend Marina House hostel. It was very dirty. The kitchen was grossly unclean, with very smelly refrigerator and highly unsanitary dishwashing practices. Rooms were tiny and cramped, beds very uncomfortable. The location was also not that much quieter than being right in Dublin, as it was on a main street, but getting to and from the city was a hassle. Not worth the extra time and money.
