Enjoyed my night here and she was nice enough to pick me up from the rail station after I'd emailed and asked.

We love Nikko!!! This place was great to stay, the owner was very friendly - and even offered to drive us back to the train station. Best futon beds in Japan, our twin private room was large and looked out over the mountains. Definately recommend.

Nice place, super freiendly and very clean. They even picked me up and dropped me off at train and gave me a lunch snack for my ride.

Great place, great staff, and great breakfast. It is far from the train station, but taxi is not expensive (660 yen), and the owner is willing to pick you up with her car if you arrange it previously. Definitely I would go there again!

Very nice place to stay, although a bit of a walk from the centre.

Friendly Staff speaking a sufficient english. The hostel is in the traditional japanese Ryokan style which means that you will have the nice "futon on tatami mats" beds as well as most of the other things which it includes. I have been in better hostels, but I have been in far worse as well. I think it is a good value for the money.

A great place to get out of the city and see a bit of nature.
