I enjoyed my time at the Oak Hotel, the room was small but fine, and the room was cleaned everyday by a friendly lady. All the staff were very nice and always had a smile on their face and spoke good English. The free Internet was great too, although only two computers meant it was hard to get on one sometimes. I will use this place again though, only ten minutes from Ueno station, which was brilliant.

I have to say it was one of the best hostels I have stayed in and I have been traveling of and on for 16 years. They could use a little bit thicker madresses. Apart from that everything fantastic.

Very very nice place. If you are looking for a community-centric hostel with a frequently used common room, this is not it. This place has more of the feel of a true hotel.

I had the best time staying here. All the reception staff and cleaners were so friendly and helpful. Reception was always more than happy to help anyway that they could. The rooms are kept so clean, it's fantastic. I would recommend staying here to anyone. And as I loved my time in Tokyo so much I will definately stay there again.
